Stuart Hertzog brings many years of successful experience in conventional publishing, promotions and media relations to the new global arena of Internet information distribution and marketing. An established writer, editor and publications designer, Stuart has been published in major Canadian newspapers and magazines and has managed the publishing needs of many corporate and government clients.
Becoming involved with electronic bulletin board (BBS) projects since 1992, Stuart identified an business opportunity in the fall of 1993 with the release of easy to use, "point-and-click" graphical Internet software. In November, he joined Vancouver-based Wimsey Information Services Ltd. as Director of Internet Services, responsible for the inception, promotion, marketing, installation, training and Internet publishing development of Wimsey's outstandingly successful SLIP/PPP Internet connection service. Under Stuart's marketing direction, Wimsey grew at an astonishing rate to become the Internet connectivity market leader in the Vancouver area, and Canada's premier commercial World Wide Web (WWW) electronic information publishing site.
May 1, 1994, Stuart left Wimsey to help establish Highwire Information Inc., a startup company specializing in, product promotion and corporate marketing through the global Internet. Highwire Information Inc. employs the full range of conventional and electronic media and marketing techniques to disseminate client data. These include online promotion and marketing through the global Internet, CD-ROM and book/disk package design and production, and information database publishing. While with Highwire, Stuart developed Internet publishing sites for major western Canadian publishers and commercial distribution outlets, as well as prototype publishing systems for future Highwire development.
In March 1995, Stuart left Highwire to form his own Internet publishing consulting company, IPS Internet Publishing Services. As an independent author, Stuart has written two Point & Click Internet Connection Kits, book/disk combinations for connecting Windows and Macintosh computers to the Internet.
