You have now learned the basics of using Netscape, plus some tips on how to perform an advanced Web search. Look through all the search sites, and test them out. When you are comfortable with them, do the following:
Choose a topic that interests you, one that you think you would be
able to find on the Internet.
Perform a Web search on this topic on as many search sites as you
can. Keep notes on how you did your search.
Put together a Hotlist of URLs you have found that are directly
linked to your topic.
Find as many non-Web links as you can, including news groups, gopher
and ftp sites.
Write an essay on your topic, using the information you have
gathered from your Web information search.
Compress and send the files, together with your notes, to your
Instructor.
Send in your answers to your Instructor
