Netscape is already compliant with HTML Level 2, so it is capable of responding to many additions beyond the basic HTML Level 1 extensions that you have learned so far. As well, the latest version of Netscape has many features already implimented that are still planned for the as-yet unreleased HTML Level 3. This includes that ability to add tables, backgrounds, and dynamic updating to documents. They are well explained in the Netscape information pages, so we'll let you look at them there (if they haven't moved!).
All the Netscape Navigator extensions to HTML take the form of additional tags and elements added to the HTML specification. They are specifically designed not to confuse existing WWW browsers. So that you begin to understand the advanced capabilities of your Netscape Web browser, we've included the relevant HTML additions specific to Netscape. This will complete your exploration of HTML.
